Dining services at Rider:

Rider offers a variety of American dishes, ethnically inspired foods,vegetarian selections and much more. There are many options, which include Daly’s, Cranberry’s, Diner, C-store, Starbucks, and Java City on campus.

 

       1. Daly’s Dining Hall

This is Rider’s daily cafeteria. Students are able to take advantage of all-you-can-eat dining here. You'll enjoy restaurant quality food of American and other ethnic styles. In addition, there are a variety  of salads, chips, desserts, fiber cereals, bisque,  ice cream, beverages and fresh fruits. Weekly menu previews are available. You can also roll Burritos, toast breads, bake waffles or cook at the pasta center yourself.

Open hours: Monday- Friday: 7am-8pm; Saturday & Sunday: 9am-7pm

 

       2. The Cranberry Café

It’s a good place for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends. Foods there include sandwiches, wraps, burgers, spicy fries, fresh pastas, specialty pizza, calzones and rolls. In addition, you can enjoy Starbucks premium coffee and desserts. Another notable feature is the express grab-and-go station’s pre-made salads, sandwiches and desserts.

       3. The Bronc Diner

The Bronc Diner is located right beside Daly's and features a selection of cheese steaks and burgers as well as appetizer-style menu options. Some favorites include Buffalo wings, nachos and milkshakes.

Open hours: 7 days a week: 7pm-2am 

 

       4. The P.O.D. Express

It’s located at the first floor of Sweigart. The P.O.D. Express espresso bar offers a variety of specialty beverages, sushi, delicious pastries, fresh salads and fruits and Montague's Deli signature sandwiches.

Open hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:45am-9:00pm; Friday: 7:45am-3:00pm

 

        5. The C-store

The C=Store is a miniature convenience store located inside of Daly’s. Products include snacks, beverages, health and beauty needs, microwavable foods and so forth.

Open hours: Monday-Friday: 10am-Midnight; Saturday & Sunday: 4pm-Midnight

 

       6. Starbucks

Starbucks is located on the first floor of SRC with comfy sofas and wireless Internet access.  They offer awesome Espresso and Frappuccino, as well as baked goods.

Open hours: Monday-Friday: 7:30am-11:00pm; Saturday & Sunday: 9:00pm -11:00pm

 

Meal Plan:

    The Carte Blanche ($175 Bronc Bucks) plan is pre-arranged for Sanda Cohorts to eat at Daly’s in the first semester. After that, three alternative meal plans are available to select. Registration is required at the end of each semester. 

·   Carte Blanche ($175 Bronc Bucks)

Unlimited when you want, what you want all-you-can-eat meals at Daly's or WCC Dining Commons.  In addition, you receive $175 Bronc Bucks to spend in any of our retail locations, as well as 5 guest passes per semester to share with a friend or family member.
·   Carte Blanche Plus ($275 Bronc Bucks)

Unlimited when you want, what you want all-you-can-eat meals at Daly's or WCC Dining Commons.  In addition, you receive $275 Bronc Bucks to spend in any of our retail locations, as well as 5 guest passes per semester to share with a friend or family member.

·   14 Meal Plan ($375 Bronc Bucks)

The 14 all-you-can-eat meals are eaten in Dalys on the Lawrenceville campus or WCC Dining Commons.  Each time you eat, a meal is deducted from your weekly meal allowance. In addition, you receive $375 Bronc Bucks to spend in any of our retail locations, as well as 5 guest passes per semester to share with a friend or family member.

Tips:

·   It’s a courtesy to take an appropriate amount of food per time, clear it up after eating and take away limited food.

·   Take care of you Bronc ID. If you lose it, you have to renew it for $30.

·   Be aware that both the Bronc Bucks and the Guest Passes are expired at the end of each semester.

 

 Chinese food to take out

When you are tired of eating American food at Rider, you can call the Chinese restaurant and order food you like and they will deliver to the gate of your hall.

Here are some good Chinese restaurants:

家园(Fortune Garden):There are many representative Chinese dishes offered, such as 鱼香肉丝,叉烧,左宗鸡and so on. You can simply ask for what you want.

It is similar to Fortune Garden and there are many good dishes.
